As part of a the BI team, you turn data into information and knowledge to enable a specific business domain.

Required Responsibilities:

• You support a user community by translating business requests into data requirements and by designing BI solutions that answer the right questions.
• You structure the necessary datasets (datamarts) needed on the DataWarehouse and extract the necessary data via SQL.
• You develop self-service reports/dashboards where information is easily available to users for direct consumption and presented in a user-friendly way.
• You interpret the results of your work and formulate conclusions that you discuss in multi-functional teams.
• You maintain the necessary contacts with the data architects and the DataWarehouse team so that you understand the underlying data flows for your data-marts-analyses.
• You work according to the standards, policies and procedures.
  

• University degree in Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, Engineering... or equivalent work experience with specialised training/certification
• 2-5 years of experience in an analytical business environment
• Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle /Teradata), Microsoft Excel, Microstrategy or Power BI
• Good knowledge on BI tools, databases and data warehouse
• Great sense of precision and strong analytical skills
• You are dynamic, flexible and proactive
• Team player and good communicator
• Positive & constructive mindset
• Able to work independently and manage own time effectively
• Good knowledge of English, NL/FR are an asset
