As a Functional Analyst, you play a leading role in all analysis, UI and database, as well as back- and front design of the applications managed by the team. You will be working in a cross-functional agile team. You translate business needs or questions into generic, sustainable, future-oriented, maintainable, and user-friendly IT and system requirements, to enable an efficient solution and workflow for new and/or existing products.
Your main responsibility is the analysis of initiatives and epics related to the domain of legal inquiries performed by authorities.
You continuously work together with the CCJ (Coordination Cell Justice) team, our external customer CTIF (Central Technical Interception Facility of the Federal Police ), the data acceleration tribe, operational teams, teams among many others.
- Take responsibility of understanding the initiative requirements, articulate the corresponding impact on the applications.
- Critically translate business needs or questions into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Challenge requirements and ensures that important requirements are not missed.
- Document your analysis, mock-ups and diagram and logically divide the work in coherent user stories
- Support the Product Owner and Team in the refinement of epics and stories.
- Obtain an insight into business processes, opportunities for improvement and/or observed problems. Based on these insights, he/she ensures that the necessary changes are implemented, or that the ideas for changes and/or solutions are given the necessary attention
- Support operational teams for any functionality related info needed
- Prepare, and make and/or validate proposals for the design of new or existing application(s), functionalities and communications and analyse and/or stabilize the logic behind the existing applications.
- Define and describe the main user procedures to ensure that the application is used correctly. Check that the stakeholders are informed properly, and whether they correctly apply the documentation in their way of working.
- Write and maintain coherent IT processes, improvements, requirements, documentation, scripts and/or knowledge management. Where applicable, realize the chosen solution through application set-up and reports development.
