To participate to development on process :

• To define engineering guidelines.
• To develop calculation tools.
• To challenge current design by proposing alternatives and optimization.
• To analyse international norms and standards to check their applicability to our product and to adapt our design if required.
• To learn about components from their manufacturers to improve their selection and/or integration in the system.
• To consolidate knowhow on technical notes.
• To maintain and to complete the library of template documents to be used for project execution.

To participate to product development and project execution by applying the engineering guidelines and by using available calculation tools and templates, including:

• To analyse client specifications.
• To select and size components of the system in collaboration with other teams.
• To participate to elaboration of P&ID and to HAZOP studies.
• To give instructions to the drafting team to build the 3D model of separation system.
• To verify drawings issued by drafting team.
• To provide support to other disciplines, including support to project manager for clarifications with client.
• To prepare technical documents for RFQ of components based on client requirements, applicable norms and client specifications.
• To analyse technical offers from subcontractors.
• Follow-up of detailed engineering by subcontractors.
• To participate to inspections at manufacturer workshop.

• Mechanical engineer, electro-mechanical engineer or chemical engineer
• At least 5 years experience in power, oil & gas, chemical or heavy industry
• Good critical appraisal
• Knowledge in industrial process
• Autonomous
• Team player
• Structured, rigorous, organised    
• Technical English: Good level for writing and reading.  Fluency is an asset.
• Fluency in French is an asset.

Contract: Permanent contract with Randstad Digital OR freelance framework contract
