Thomas: “After having taken my first steps as a freelancer, I took some time off. But I kept in touch with Randstad Digital’s talent managers, and our relationship stayed as strong as ever. When I wanted to get back in the game, they helped me to find a new project.”

“Today, I give technology trainings at Siemens. It’s a project for Infrabel, via Randstad Digital. Infrabel has to renew all its railways by 2025: every train has to be capable of signaling electronically by then. Together with Siemens, I created courses to train engineers and maintenance technicians to deal with this new technology.”

“This project will end in 2 years”, Thomas continues. “But that’s not a problem. In the meantime, I’m always on the lookout for new projects, and I also know that Randstad Digital will support me in my search. They help me transition between projects whenever I need them.”

“Or maybe I’ll take some time off again when this project ends, who knows. It gives me peace of mind to know that that would be okay, and that Randstad Digital will always have interesting projects to offer me when I eventually get back.”

“In the future, I will get the opportunity to engage people for the projects that I work on. The search for the right people is difficult and time-consuming, but I know exactly what profiles are needed. I’m glad to get the chance to create a strong team in order to make the client happy.”
